The Welsh Story
Since the original Welsh Repair Shop was founded in 1945 by Shelby Welsh, the Welsh family has continued to serve as an automotive repair and refinishing industry leader.
Noel Welsh, son of Shelby, has made the local area very proud with his extraordinary accomplishments as an Automotive Paint and Body instructor at La Porte High School by earning 14 Skills USA state championships since Welsh Repair Shop closed shortly after Shelby’s death. Noel, along with his son Brad Welsh, are now excited to apply that same excellence and technical expertise to the vehicles for which they serve in the local Deer Park and La Porte communities.
